You have the power to make a difference in the lives of those in need in our community.  By donating food, you can ensure children, senior citizens, and families across Greene County will have something to eat.  Through food donations, we are able to supplement what we are giving families and to help those who have no food.  The fight against hunger is one that we can win if we work together.

Most Needed Items

These items are the most helpful and sought-after products to the people we serve at the food bank. Please keep this list in mind when donating.

  • March:  Rice Or Instant Potato
  • April:  Corn/Green Beans Or Any Canned Vegetables
  • May:  Canned Fruit
  • June:  Breakfast Cereal (Hot Or Cold)
  • July:  Pop Top Canned Meals (Spaghetti & Meatballs, Chili With Beans, Ravioli, Etc.)
  • August:  Macaroni & Cheese Dinners/Boxed Dinners Like Hamburger Helpers
  • September:  Canned Meats Like Tuna, Chicken, Salmon, Vienna Sausage And Canned Hams
  • October:  Peanut Butter And Jelly
  • November:  Canned Tomatoes

Individual Donations / One-Time Donations

One-time donations may be dropped off at our office  during normal operating hours (Tuesdays & Thursdays are by appointment only).   Receipts will be provided upon request.

Food Drives

Food drives are a great way to support the Greene County Food Pantry. These drives are easy to set up and are suitable for everyone from individuals, book clubs, churches, organizations and neighborhoods .
