End of Year Fundraising Opportunity
As the end of the year approaches, we are
making a final push for donations for our Upscale Resale fundraiser. Your donation not only makes a positive impact in the lives of hungry families, but also provide you with a tax deduction opportunity. We are not asking for money; we are asking for donations of designer or designer quality handbags, jewelry, and/or women’s accessories. We give you a tax receipt and we sell them next year at our Upscale Resale Event. Email: littlechurch2018@gmail.com. who will arrange to pick up your items.
Sponsored by The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer & The Lake Oconee Community Church Bank South. |
The Greene County Food Pantry was founded in 2007, as a 501c3, non profit, tax deductible organization. We serve all that qualify for assistance, and are especially partial to senior citizens. Over 30% of our clients are seniors living below the poverty level.
Our mission is to assist those in the community by providing a nutritionally sound assortment of canned goods, box dinners, rice, beans, pasta, cereal, fruit, meat, bread, etc in quantities large enough to provide for a few meals every month. In previous years, The Greene County Food Pantry has served over 5,500 families — nearly 15,000 individuals — with each family receiving more than 30 pounds of food per month. |
